Happy New Year! It’s January, and I’m here to share with you the latest housing market stats. We’ll be looking at December and comparing 2019 to 2018. 

Carrying over from last month, median sales price is trending down and housing inventory is mixed. So, what does this mean? 

If you’re a buyer, it’s a great time to get out there! Prices are in your favor and in most areas, there are plenty of options. 

If you’re a seller, it’s a great reminder of how important it is to have the right real estate professional who knows the area, can effectively market your home, and can help you come up with a great pricing strategy.

Your Mortgage Rates Update

Mortgage rates continue to remain near historic lows. As a result, your borrowing power is higher, which opens up more options when buying your next home. 

So, take a closer look below at the Primary Mortgage Market Survey from Freddie Mac. The blue line represents a 30-year fixed mortgage, the green line is a 15-year fixed mortgage, and the orange line is an Adjustable Rate Mortgage.
