New home sales for April 2021

It’s always a good idea to keep an eye on the housing market. So, there are two key things we want to share with you regarding recent home sales.

People are still buying and selling real estate. When we look at Plymouth, Novi, and Northville for the months of January, February, and March we saw 429 homes sell in the 1st Quarter.

Home are still selling at all different price points. Below are just some of the homes that have sold and you can see what they’re selling for.

New housing market update for March 2021. We’ll be looking at February 2021 and comparing the numbers to the previous five year averages.

We’re seeing similar trends as before. The median sales price and the average sales price are remaining steady or slightly increasing. At the same time, the housing inventory and the months supply are some of the lowest numbers we’ve seen in recent years.

So, what does this mean for you?

If you’re a buyer, make sure you understand it’s a very competitive market – meaning there’s limited supply and another home may not be out there. If you’re a seller, price your home competitively to attract more buyers and hopefully more offers as a result.

New housing market update for February 2021. We’ll be looking at January 2021 and comparing the numbers to the previous five year averages.

We’re seeing similar trends as before. The median sales price and the average sales price are remaining steady or slightly increasing. At the same time, the housing inventory and the months supply are some of the lowest numbers we’ve seen in recent years.

Trends are similar when compared to all of 2020. The median sales price and the average sales price are mostly trending up. At the same time, the housing inventory and the months supply are trending down.

So, what does this mean for you?

As a first-time home buyer, John's guidance through this process was excellent.
