New housing market update for February 2021. We’ll be looking at January 2021 and comparing the numbers to the previous five year averages.
We’re seeing similar trends as before. The median sales price and the average sales price are remaining steady or slightly increasing. At the same time, the housing inventory and the months supply are some of the lowest numbers we’ve seen in recent years.
So, what does this mean for you?
If you’re a buyer, make sure you understand it’s a very competitive market – meaning there’s limited supply and another home may not be out there. If you’re a seller, price your home competitively to attract more buyers and hopefully more offers as a result.
